Kansai College of Business and Languages ​​(Kansai College) se fundó en 1967 como escuela de formación profesional en negocios. En 1989, Kansai College creó el Departamento de Estudios Japoneses, enfocado en estudiantes internacionales y japoneses que han regresado a sus países.
